The Pillars of Hercules
Begin your journey with a visit to the renowned Pillars of Hercules. Here, you'll be treated to stunning vistas of North Africa as you gaze across the sea. This vantage point, located above Europa Point, offers a unique perspective of where the Atlantic Ocean merges with the Mediterranean Sea.
St Michael's Cave
Our next stop takes us to the remarkable St Michael's Cave. This natural wonder attracts thousands of visitors annually, who come to marvel at its expansive caverns and awe-inspiring formations.
Top of The Rock Monkeys
Following this, your private tour guide will drive you to The Top of the Rock, offering breathtaking views of Gibraltar. Here, you’ll encounter our famous monkeys up close, observing their playful interactions, grooming habits, and feeding routines. If you're fortunate, one might even climb onto your back, creating a memorable photo opportunity!
Skywalk Glass Viewing Platform
While at The Top of the Rock, you can also experience the Skywalk Glass Viewing Platform. Opened by Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, this platform allows you to stand on transparent glass above a significant drop, offering stunning east-side views of Gibraltar.
The Great Siege Tunnels
Next, we'll head to the north side of the Rock to explore the Great Siege Tunnels. This historical site is a must-see, providing a detailed account of Gibraltar's 18th-century siege. The tunnels are filled with fascinating stories about the wars, the carving of the tunnels, and the people who used them.
The Moorish Castle
Construction of the Moorish Castle began in the 8th century AD, though its completion date remains unknown. Its extensive walls extend down to the Town, and the Tower of Homage stands as the tallest tower from the Islamic rule in the Iberian Peninsula. The Castle's Qasbah is the largest in the area and played a significant role during the Muslim invasion of the Iberian Peninsula. Until 2010, part of the castle served as Gibraltar's prison.
Europa Point
Located at Gibraltar's southernmost tip, Europa Point features the iconic Europa Point Lighthouse and offers spectacular views across the Straits of Gibraltar to Northern Africa, including Morocco.
Catalan Bay
Lastly, we’ll drive through the Kingsway Tunnel under the airport to reach the border with Spain, concluding our tour with a visit to the picturesque Catalan Bay on the eastern side of Gibraltar.
