The Pillars of Hercules
Our tour begins with the renowned Pillars of Hercules, where you can marvel at the stunning vistas of North Africa across the sea. From this vantage point, you'll see the confluence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, all from a viewpoint above Europa Point.
St Michael's Cave
Next, we'll head up to explore St Michael's Cave, a natural wonder that attracts thousands of visitors annually. Wander through its vast caverns and be awed by this geological marvel.
O'Hara's Battery
Located at the highest point of the Rock of Gibraltar, O'Hara's Battery is an artillery battery in this British Overseas Territory. It offers a glimpse into Gibraltar's military past and panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Top of the Rock
Your private tour guide will then take you to the Top of the Rock, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Gibraltar. Here, you'll also get to spend time with the famous monkeys, observing their playful antics and social behaviors. If you're lucky, one might even hop on your back, providing a unique photo opportunity!
Skywalk Glass Viewing Platform
While at the Top of the Rock, you'll experience the Skywalk Glass Viewing Platform. Inaugurated by Star Wars legend Mark Hamill, this platform lets you stand on clear glass above a sheer drop, offering stunning views of Gibraltar's east side.
Windsor Suspension Bridge
On June 21, 2016, Chief Minister Fabian Picardo opened the Windsor Suspension Bridge along the Royal Anglian Way. Spanning 71 meters and crossing a 50-meter-deep ravine, this bridge connects an abandoned battery with Hayne's Cave Battery, making it a thrilling adventure and a great spot for photos.
The Great Siege Tunnels
Next, we will drive to the north side of the Rock to explore the Great Siege Tunnels. These tunnels, rich with history, tell the story of Gibraltar under siege in the 18th century. They are filled with tales of historic wars and the incredible efforts that went into their construction.
The Moorish Castle
The Moorish Castle, whose construction began in the 8th century AD, encompasses a large area extending down to the town. Its Tower of Homage is the highest of its era on the Iberian Peninsula, and the Qasbah is the largest in the region. The castle played a crucial role during the Muslim invasion of the Iberian Peninsula and housed Gibraltar's prison until 2010.
City Under Siege Exhibition
This exhibition showcases scenes depicting the lives of Gibraltar's civilian population during the siege. It features fascinating stories of the first British settlers and their struggles to adapt to life in Gibraltar.
World War II Tunnels
The most extensive tunneling in Gibraltar's history occurred during World War II, significantly expanding the tunnel network from 7 miles (11 km) to 25 miles (40 km). These tunnels played a vital role in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean theatres of the war.
The 100 Ton Gun
In the late 1800s, the British naval authorities built four massive 100-ton guns, two of which were installed in Gibraltar and the other two in Malta. These guns were part of Britain's efforts to secure its holdings.
Europa Point
Located at the southernmost tip of Gibraltar, Europa Point features the iconic Europa Point Lighthouse and offers spectacular views across the Strait of Gibraltar to Northern Africa and Morocco.
Catalan Bay & 360º Drive around The Rock
The tour includes a comprehensive 360º drive around the Rock of Gibraltar, offering an all-encompassing view of its stunning coastline. This scenic route passes significant landmarks and picturesque spots, including the charming fishing village of Catalan Bay, dramatic Jurassic sand dunes, and historic water catchments.
Famous Runway
